Booking is now open!
The Paediatric Critical Care Society Conference 2025 is fast approaching, and we are delighted to be hosting it in Belfast. It promises to be a ‘Giant’ experience for all the delegates.
The dates for the conference are Thursday 11 th and Friday 12 th September but we will be running pre-conference workshops on Wednesday 10 th September! These will include CACTUS (POCUS), a PCCS-Study Group Meeting (research group), a Paediatric Emergencies Intubation Course, and a mini Sunflower Course (end of life care – nurses &AHP’s).
CS Lewis observed that ‘some journeys take us far from home’ and that ‘some adventures lead us to our destiny’. Our hope is that this conference will be an opportunity to showcase and share best practice in paediatric care, to celebrate the professional excellence of colleagues, and to affirm to us all the significance of the role we play.
Abstract submissions are open and will be closing on 30 th May. We are excited to learn and celebrate all the hard work done within the Paediatric Critical Care Community over the last year.
The PCCS conference has always been well subscribed and to avoid disappointment we would encourage early booking!
The dates for ‘early bird’ booking are up until the end of May.
We have also been working with a number of excellent hotels in the Belfast area to offer to delegates the best rates for accommodation. These hotels are located conveniently to the conference venue in the city centre. Belfast is renowned for its hospitality, culture, and of course the ‘craic’, with a huge range of nightlife options.
An ancient Irish proverb begins with the line ‘May the road rise with you’. This line is a wish for a
smooth and easy journey, both literally and figuratively. It is a hope that the path ahead will be kind
and easy to traverse. We hope you can join us and help make this year’s conference the best yet!
